WHY DO A MATERNITY SESSION?DOCUMENT EVERY STEP OF THE JOURNEY: Babies are such a precious gift from God! The entire experience of pregnancy and delivery is amazing and life-changing. It's the beginning of a new life that grew from the love of two people. It's an important part of your story and your family's story that you need to take time to document. Your maternity session will not only be a fun experience for mom and dad, but it will also be something you can show baby later in life, telling the story of your love for each other and for baby.
I NEVER DID MATERNITY SESSION FOR MY PREVIOUS CHILDREN: Even if you never did maternity session with your other children, it's still something that is worth doing. As you have more children, there are fewer and fewer pics of each child, so later children will enjoy knowing that you took the time to get a session for them! It's also fun to include older children in the session as well; to have them interact with you and your belly. It's important to document your growing family and the stages that come with it! I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY WEIGHT AND I HAVE STRETCH MARKS: I understand wanting to look your best for your pictures, but don't let not being your ideal weight get in the way of documenting this part of your story. As far as stretch marks, these can easily be removed in photoshop! I will use my posing and photoshop skills to create beautiful portraits for you! |

WHY DO A NEWBORN SESSION?TIME FLIES! Baby grows so fast! Those little wrinkles, flaky skin, tiny fingers and toes soon disappear and baby is smiling, then on the move, then walking.... You see what I mean! You need to be decisive about documenting these first beautiful days of baby's life. It's this time when baby sleeps so soundly and can be posed so easily. That's why it's important to schedule your newborn session within first 7-10 days of baby's life.
IT'S MY FIRST BABY AND I'M NOT COMFORTABLE COMING TO THE STUDIO: Being a 4-time mom, I totally understand what it's like to be a first-time mom. It's life-changing! After delivery mom and dad are often very tired and still figuring things out. Nearly every new mom feels that way for that matter! That's why most often I come to your home for the newborn session. This allows for relaxed atmosphere for mom, dad and baby. It's not a problem if baby has to nurse in middle of session or takes some time settling down. I allow 1.5 hours to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. |
